Title: A different approach to spam Post by: folderol on October 09, 2008, 09:26:01 PM I've noticed that almost all the spam we get appears in the very first thread, whatever it happens to be.

This is a most ingenious solution to a problem faced by every web site. And here, rather than use "spamware" that can adversely affect the performance of site software, we just give them a place to post their garbage, and remove it as quickly as it shows up. Glad we sorted this one out. P.S.: there's no possibility to delete the posts autamatically in this thread, meaning someone still have to delete them...
