Post by: jkant on September 24, 2009, 03:23:31 PM
Hi all,
my first post here.
I introduce myself proposing my recent release Early Century Grooves on Digital Tunes (http://www.digital-tunes.net/releases/early_century_grooves).

Any feedback is welcome.

Thanks

Welcome to our forum!

Electronica is a genre of music I don't understand very well, but some of the sounds you create are quite fascinating.
Would you care to tell us how you make your music?

Thanks for listening!

I like to create my own tools to try makin' new sounds (= sounds i've never heard before). My software setup is: pure data, csound and ableton live (suite) on mac osx tiger. I also use field recordings somethimes (Specula Noctis). I love out-of-world reverberation and phasing, used to achieve very immersive textures.

I often use math tricks to create algorithmic stuff. You can see something on my website (http://jkant.altervista.org/) and youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/jkantTube).

ciao!
