Title: Emulation Elation Post by: elwoodblues91 on June 06, 2017, 01:14:42 AM Over the years,I've purchased several percussion VST's,in hopes of finding that classic and distinctive 80's drum machine sound...but to no avail...ever....that is,till now!
Before now...the 80's-type sounds I had found in the past,just didn't have that punchy and crisp tone...but with UVI's exceptional sample and signal processing wizardry,these sounds really stand out in the mix very well! I managed to score a E-MU bundle deal,which also has not just the drum machine sounds,but the synths as well(which was normally $150) and I got it for $55! Everything you hear in this song(drums,synths & effects)is exclusively from this plug-in bundle... Yes indeed...it's nothing short mesmerizing,to have access to all of the 80's greatest hardware...especially since the E-MU synth alone,retailed for $7,995 back in the day! I couldn't exactly afford the $150 for this bundle either,but I lucked out with the sale price I got from VSTBuzz.Personally,I think this particular bundle is a bit overpriced(due to their not being very many presets)...but maybe the pricing as it is,is meant to encourage people to but UVI's Vintage Vault($499)...which has just about everything they've ever created.
