just wanted to stop in and thank kara & moon (and all else involved) for hosting.  and say hello to all you wonderful and supportive forum members.  this is a much more "homey" community than what i am used to.

i have a couple of questions about the direct links.  in internet explorer my recent upload links to the mp3 of the file name entered suring the upload process and not the song title, whereas in firefox it links to artist name as "application/octet-stream" and asks you to pick a helper program.  My first upload works fine in both browsers.  Does anybody know how to have them link to mp3 and display the song title entered during the upload process?

thanks for your time

Hi esesar welcome aboard.

Hey I get to be first to welcome someone Smiley

Can't help you with your upload problem I'm afraid - not an IE user.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
I'll poke around and see if I can stir up an answer to your question.

I don't think we're very Firefox tested, so it may just be something we haven't seen before.

Hi Esesar,

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not sure I understand your problem. What's the difference between the first and second upload? Could you send me the 2 links. I'll have a look at it.

Hello all thanks for the welcome and assistance.  The two links are as follows

http://www.kara-moon.com/download_song.php?download_id=4393
this one is the recent upload -although it's not listed as an mp3, i can open the file with winamp and it gives me the name of the file as it existed on my pc not the title i entered into the upload page

http://www.kara-moon.com/download_song.php?download_id=4277
this one is the first one i uploaded - it works fine in both browsers

thanks again
