Version 1.0 Real Soon Now

I hope to release 1.0 before November 11, 2006. Nothing particular about the date ... but I'd like to get on to working on some ideas which have been on the MMA shelf for too long, so it is time to finalize.

I'm done some package tweaking, doc fixes and bug swatting. Nothing dramatic.

But, if any of you have anything which needs to be addressed before 1.0 gets up and away, please let me know soonest.

There are bugs. There were bugs. There always will be bugs.

But, we can hope they are getting fewer. The ones I've fixed in this round are pretty minor and relate mostly to error reporting. In some cases the segment of code works fine, until an error is found ... then it crashes. Hard to generate each and every possible error ... and my MMA song files are perfect so I never get the errors! Yeah, right.

Break out the funny hats and the champage! I've just uploaded 1.0 to the web site and sent out announcements to the folks on my mailing list!

Have fun ... now I can get on to creating wonderful new options to our favorite program

It's a shame but i have way to much work at the moment to drink champagne, but I'll put the bottle in the frig.....

I really need to publically acknowledge the great help that Kara has been on this project. He's (and many others over the way-too-long development process) have pushed me into doing things in MMA that I never envisioned when I started. And, it was our very own Kara that pushed me into finally putting 1.0 in the version instead of yet another beta value.

Champage? What champage? I have to get to work on new features
