In the spirit of coffee, incredibly potent energy drinks & waking up,I give you-this piece. I had a energy drink made by a company called "Freek"-the name of this particular flavor & blend is called "Skitzo" and here is the result of this drink....

This is very well done, but is too far an aggressive/percussive style for my personal tastes.

A great track, at moments it really gets that Kraftwerk-y vibe. It does feel a bit like it's missing some good hooks though. Kraftwerk always has these nice, short melodic snippets throughout a track, maybe one or two of these would be cool to hear. But it's a nice track as it is with lots of cool sounds.

Wyatt, This piece just sort of fell together rather quickly & it seemed to work as it was,so I am very pleased you like it as much as you do. Thanks for your kind words. Thom

Marc, I'm familiar with the name Kraftwerk, but I'm not sure if I've ever heard them...perhaps I have without knowing them by name-in any event,I'll take the reference as a compliment. With regard to my piece being what it is..well...after a brief period of deliberation,I felt that certain segments in the song should be minimal,in order to showcase the bass line & it's progression into morphing in character. I was also afraid that if I added more,it would be over-produced,which may cause the piece to deviate from the theme a bit. This of course was all decided in a short period of time,so who knows, maybe I will come out with an alternate version of this piece at some point. Thanks for your input & compliments. Thom

Andreas, At some point,I too,had thought there was distortion & I had even considered doing the song over again, but I think it's borderline,as it's teetering on the precipice of being distorted. Ultimately I am not sure if the levels should be a bit lower,as for myself,I have monitors that have very clean amps & good engineering & maybe it's the high tolerances of my monitors is why I don't hear any distortion? However though, one of the themes of this song, was to push the envelope as much as possible and take everything to the limit for impact for the optimal effect & I guess that I may have over-stepped the boundries a bit,I'm not sure. Very glad you like my song though-thanks! Thom
