I was researching the updated version of the old Novation X-Station which is the XioSynth and I came across this video of the 49 key version...woah!!
(all sounds except for the drums are from the XioSynth itself!!)

Kewl. I have the 25-key version. I'm just now starting to learn my way around the interface. It's nice to hear one played by someone other than myself. Tell me: how are the MIDI control and audio interface features working out for you?

Hello Moe,

I had a couple of mechanical problems with the keys on mine,so I never got a chance to check out the midi functions, nor the interfacing.

Also,at this point still,I have always been and continue to be,a hardware-based musician,so I have no experience whatsoever with pc-based keyboards.

Once I get my X-Station,I will eventually dabble in the Novation's other functions, but I became interested in Novation products for the synth portion of their keyboards,so I am afraid I cannot be of any help to you.

From what I understand of Novation products, they are very user-friendly,as thier functions are laid out quite nicely,so I'm sure it won't take very long for you to figure out your Xio.

Good luck with yours,

Thom
