Wow! First class job! Congrats! And, the big print works for us old guys Cheesy

Hey Fisher, one of those parts should be "how to arrange your studio so that the chords hooking up all your equipment doesn't make it look like Spider Man's den".  Cheesy

Yeah Fred, ...this may have to wait until we get "Bluetooth" for audio gear. Until then, the only cord/cable-free zone at Casa del Oren is the bathroom Cheesy

Hey, this is really great! Congratulations to all for a job well done.

A few minor typographical issues are all the "problems" in noticed in reading.

A few suggestions:

- I see that a lot of the ezines around these days are formatted to fit a monitor screen instead of a printed page format. I think this makes it nicer to read on a screen ... kill trees just to read is so 20th century Smiley

- This magazine really, really, really needs to be promoted far and wide! Now, don't ask me how ... I've given up selling my first million copies of my CD Cedars and will start over soon on the 2nd million Smiley It's hard work and my successes are few and far between.

- You need to make more obvious links on the KM site for this. I could only find the link at the top of this thread. I'm sure there are more ... but, it has to be obvious.

- Every month might be a bit ambitious. Great if you can, but 6 per year might be more realistic as a start.

- Finally, I get a real magazine every 2 months to my US mail address. TapeOp, http://www.tapeop.com/  is a free magazine which is really just a wrapper for lots and lots of ads. But, they manage to fill up 50 or 60 pages (I'm guessing just now) and it looks good. The point is that advertisers seem to want to spend money. Certainly, some ads might not hurt and you could spend the tons of money you make advertising the magazine Smiley

I won't even mention the nice stuff you say about little old me in the magazine. Folks might think I'm biased Smiley

Again, a job well done!

Bob.

I just got a chance to look at this and all I can say is “WOW”  wOO

Super job.

Great timing also as I just got my first bass student (I’m teaching guitar at the Jam Shack School of Music in Brockport NY) and Kara’s Talking Bass Part 1 is going to same me a lot of research time!

I have an idea for the magazine !
I need a very good traducer Dutch-English though ! Anybody interested ?
It´s all about funny stories related to music, so nothing technical.
I´ve got the stories (some already finished) and a very good/funny (successful) writer (in Dutch Sad).

It would be quiet egoistic to publish them in Dutch : part of Kara-Moon dying of laughter, while the other part has to chew interesting technical music know-how... Cry

If you wanna get more info, let me know,

Cheers,

Max... .. . wOO

Sounds like a good idea !

There aren't so many dutch speaking members here, so I sign up as volunteer... well at least if my knowledge of English is regarded to be 'good enough'  Undecided
