Glad you have your voice back, Wyatt. It realy shines in this song  Cool

I'm not sure if it is sad enough for the KVR contest, I've never understood on what criteria the voting on kvr was done.

Good luck with the contest !

Yes, I can finally sing again. It is taking a little getting used to, but I am happy..I sure missed it.

Glad you have your voice back, Wyatt. It really shines in this song...

Schweet! Leonard Cohen wishes he'd written this one... Cheesy

Your tendency to have that big left hand strangle the smaller strings is remarkably diminished. Good work, Oklahoma!

Thank you James.

Simplicity is exactly what I was shooting for. Simple finger-picking..simple mix.

Those one-take tracks of yours are contagious, bro!

Cool

James, this song has what every song should have, a strong lead line and a super rhythm section.  You managed both with just your vox and guitar.

But it was the third criteria that really got me.  That was the lyrics.  Your voice with these lyrics was phenomenal.

I don’t care what they say over at KVR, this is a winner for sure.

@Mario..thank you for listening and for your generous comments.

I appreciate it.

I am hoping this one is the first of many to come. I love to sing.

Hey Wyatt, I'm glad your voice is back, since it works very well for the atmosphere of this one.
Very solid track...
About sad-songs in general :
I think the more they're effective the more I dislike them, since you can almost touch sadness.Sad
Anyway this is indeed very intense

Cheers
