Thanx Kara

The drums are from Groove Monkey.  I use their midi drum tracks a lot.

Also thank you for the bass compliment.  This is the first song I’ve done using the Squire P-Bass my wife bought me for Christmas.  Yep, that’s me live.  Your comment made my day as I really tried NOT to sound like a lead guitarist playing bass  Wink

A squire P-bass  Cool A perfect allround bass workhorse ! What colour do you have ?

I know the Groove monkey midi loops, but what samples did you use, they sound realy good !

And be assured, you realy sound as a bass player. I like the way how you played it, the way you mute the strings to get that syncopated feeling, which is what this song needed.
Truely something you rarely hear from a guitar player playing a bass. But let's not start that guitar-bass jokes/war  Grin
And beside you are better then me, I don't play guitar, tried it a couple of times, but it has to much strings  Roll Eyes Grin

I have a red one with a white pick guard.  It was a used one she purchased at Jam Shack, the music store/studio where I teach guitar and she got a great deal on it.  It’s in perfect shape and was very seldom played, until now that is.

I know all about guitarist playing bass.  Had a couple in our bands.  That is why I really tried not to sound like a guitarist playing bass  Wink   Many people don’t realize that bass and guitar phrasings are very different, especially for guitarists like me.  I play a lot of laid-back leads and a lot of syncopated leads, something you can not do during a supporting bass track.

No my friend you are better than I am.  My guitar has only 6 strings. Your keyboards can have from 35 to 88 keys.  Do the math Grin

I’m using Groove Monkey’s Basic Rock subset from the Rock set.  That’s a great set to own.

Thanx again for the very kind words.

I really enjoyed this. You've manged to get everything sounding very casual.

It has a very 1960s club atmosphere. I can almost see the 'band' Cool

a good song ! I like it.
I believe it has the perfect vibe for a protest song.
Every part blends in very well and appropriate vocals over it
Well done

Cheers
