For some reason I started a house track, really dont know why as I am not a fan of the genre and have to knowlege of it.
Good or bad, are there any house heads here.

Hi Elv
I'm not a dance-music expert, but I like it.
Drums and bass-line sounds pretty standard as in many dance tracks.
You laid down good melodies and the sounds you used are working great together.

Cheers

Defintifly old house style here.
You nailed the style very well.
The Eb -Db chord combination is frequently used in House music
Swithcing to minor of this chords between bar 15 and 40 isn't a great idea for  dance music. Minor chords gives a rather sad mood to the listener and you don't want that if you want people to dance. Same remark starting at bar (around) 90

But I'm not a house specialist, just typed this while listening to the song

Hi elv. Long time no speak. Great to see you here.  Grin

This is a nice house track. I used to listen to quite a lot of house in the early 90's and this brings back some memories of that. Love the groove and bas lines espescially. Good one.  Smiley

Hi elv,

strange to hear House from you  Grin

This is very well done, clean and punchy. The bass synth may use some more sliding between notes here and there maybe, not sure...

Classic and solid. Enjoyed, thanks!!

bye

I normally listen to trance as far as EDM is concerned, but this is pretty dope.  Punchy drums, freaky leads, and a pad machine that rocks your socks.  Some of the sounds give me an air of video-game chip tunes more than others, but I wonder if that wasn't planned, cuz it does create a nifty atmosphere.

elv,

I don't know House, but I like your song.

I like the minor chords a lot. They just have a certain feeling to them.

Hi,

I think you did a good job getting the sound you were aiming for.  Interestingly, while the drums and bassline were the most prominent, they were not as interesting as the other stuff in the track, which was quite interesting.

I have a few suggestions:

Create some movement in the bassline by altering the timbre of it as the song progresses.  Sure tweaking the freq cutoff and resonance is over-done, but my ears got tired of the same sound and those kind of changes over time can really help.  You can also change the envelope settings.

I also think the snare sound was a bit mushy for that style.  I think I would have preferred a more "crisp" snare hit.
