The theme for this month is: Who are you?
This month's theme asks you to tell us about yourself.
Your physical makeup, your emotional disposition, your extra musical chromasone,.... whatever! So that fitted in nicely with my current (age related  ) obsession with time. A simple song. My Quiet Life
Some day I’m gonna write down
The story of my quiet life
In case someone remembers me from times gone by.
And if you meet me on the street
The name that you will call me by
Can tell me where you know me from and, maybe, why.
If you’re a one that calls me Jim
You could go back to ‘62
The year that saw my first guitar and set me on this road.
The influences of that time
The Shadows and the Rolling Stones
Gave way to learning how the blues can take the load.
When youth is on our side
Time creeps along
But decades go, and then we know
It’s time to write the song.
When Jimmy is the one you know
Acoustic bass and mandolin
The folk club scene and festivals were where we had to go.
They took us up to ‘74
And real life started taking hold
That’s when we drew the final curtain on that show.

Now, if I’m known as ‘off the wall’
It only goes back years but ten
When paint and brushes drew me back to music once again.
The combination of the arts
And this new ‘computer thing’
Were pivotal in helping me to learn how to sing.

 Thanks, team. As I said 'over there' ..... this may encourage me to finish the song. The 3 minute rule meant that I had to omit a whole chunk of my life ....... who knows  ..... it may turn into a concept album ..... and it will be your own fault for encouraging me James

Well just out off curiosity sake I listen to the entries before you on the Top 10.
To be honest it deserved a place in the top 3... but OK I admit we are not Kvr but KM, our criteria must be different
k - thinking about how subjective musical taste is.
