Looks like we're going to make it after all. On December the 19th we'll have a modest KM-live gig in Belgium or perhaps Holland.

We'll keep you posted !

Belgium I could make, Eurostar permitting (remember last time?) Shocked Holland might be harder. I've not been there for a very long time and don't have any idea what the transport routes are like now - last time I went there involved a ferry that broke down half-way across, resulting in a 10hour crossing Sad

That should be no problem Will, if you make it to Belgium we can easily take you to Holland

Sorry to be the spoilsport here but this was not meant to be a gig; for that we have Moons upcoming bday gig as well as two other possible 87PM gigs in 2010 that we'll announce soon-ish.

That's right. The date for the real one is January 23th.

The december gig is a small gig without audience, a first rehearsel...

Plenty of time to book that flight or traintrip !  Wink

In that case I definitely want to come to the December one. I need to make sure I can still work in a group - before having to face an audience Shocked

Last time I was on stage was in 1968-1969 as a very basic rhythm guitarist Roll Eyes

For the practice session, roughly what sort of times are we looking at.

because of the time of year, I'll have to think about booking Eurostar soon. If I remember rightly even catching the earliest train possible I wouldn't get to Brussels till about midday. Also to be realistic I think I'd have to make it an overnight stop (good excuse to have a nose around the following day).

I hope you will be making a video or audio recording for those of us too impoverished to come  Grin

I seems that once again my luck has failed me. Today I got a letter to say an operation I've been waiting for (about 6 months now) has been set for the Thursday before this event Angry

There's a very remote possibility that I could get an early re-booking if someone cancels but I'm not holding my breath Sad

Sorry to hear that Fol, but you should then at least be able to come to Moon's bday gig as well as the 87PM gig which will be in late april (precise date tba). Good luck with the operation!

Indeed Will, sounds like bad news.
I hope you're doing well and we'll see you on one of the next gigs

Rather bad news  Cry

The rehearsal gig is next saterday and at the moment it looks as I won't make it....
It is snowing all over the place here and driving up to Belgium is a 9 hour drive for me which is not an option in those weather conditions  Undecided

So... We had a lot of fun at the practice gig. Unfortunately, because of the snow, Kara couldn't be there but Moon did and we rigged a Skype session with Kara and Azell so they could at least be there virtually which went ok (well, Skype quality and latency were a problem but it was better than nothing). We practiced a lot of tracks which we hope to be playing in January. But let me give you an idea of how it went by adding a pic! )

On another note, Fol - I hope the operation went well last week?

It was fun indeed. Also, you'll notice we had a great audience on the front row  Wink

It was interesting doing a virtual gig. I hope we do others in the futurte. In the mean time we have some time to figure out how to best set up the audio connections between different places.
