I decided to cough up the extra cash for a new broadband modem and a faster connection from my internet provider, so I can particpate more effectively in collaborations such as occur here frequently at Kara-Moon.

Unexpected bonus: now streaming audio is no longer an important website feature - just download the tune, and enjoy. I had hoped Kara-Moon would incorporate streaming audio, but for the kind of technologically advanced users that frequent this site, it's an unnecessary service.

Potential benefit of having no streaming audio on this site: Download-only listening may act as a "filter" that discourages casual web-surfers and motorheads, and attracts musicians who take the time to really listen to a song.
