Using the generous offer for file space at Kara-Moon to upload my entry here.

My thread of choice is Top 5 Free VSTInstruments using Voyager, Synth1, ZynAddSubFX, Superwave P8 and DR-Fusion. (all FX are freeware too)

A capable display of free VSTi  and VST software in action.
If I still used Windows, I'd be tempted to have a go with these myself... (ZynAddSubFX is, of course always an option)

So I take it you're on Linux? Btw, just saw that SQ8L can be run in that OS too in case you didn't know. A really fine free synth that, many people's fav of the free VSTis.

Yes to Linux! Good to know SQ8L is an option for us...
