 Cool
Update.

I have finally finished off our long awaited album 'The Elderly Brothers Ride Again'.
As a special tribute I have sub-titled it 'Across The Waves'.

It comprises 22 tracks and a full descriptive brochure and will be going on-line (hopefully) at the end of this month as a free download in both MP3 and OGG formats, thanks to Kara and Moon for this.

I have already burned a hard copy and sent it off to Louise who was so delighted that she has requested another six copies for family and friends who are not computer users, so could not get the download versions.

Watch this space, Wyatt fans.  Cool

Indeed Moon is back end of the month.
Then we can put it on-line on the main site.

At long last, my friends ....

here is the definitive tribute  Cry

Here, at last, is the final tribute to our dear friend Wyatt ... who moved from the orchestra pit to centre stage in April of this year.

We worked together, between England and Oklahoma USA, for about 3 years and this is a compilation of the good times that we had together.

This is a full album of 22 tracks plus a PDF brochure of track listings and general info.
I am hugely grateful to kara-moon.com for hosting this for our benefit.

A free download in MP3 or OGG including the PDF.

Thanks must also go to Oren for the mastering (for download)

Only had time to listen to a couple of tracks so far - this is something you don't hurry!

Very much like what I've heard. You've all done some sterling work here, including our absent friend.

Will,

you don't need to comment after a couple of tracks, mate.  Roll Eyes

This is a full album, for free, for your enjoyment .... just keep it, and listen to it at you leisure  Cool

It's been a 'labour of love' for me to compile this.
I'm eternally grateful to our K-M benefactors for hosting it.  Kiss Kiss

I was in a repression with this very sad message.Wyatt was my teacher in song mastering and gave me a help in making a mix of my song "Lilac" (Сирень)despite of a big distance between USA and Latvia
He told much about his Oklahoma rancho , about his boats and handmade wooden bowls.
I finished a new song in memory of our Russian Bard-Vizbor J. and  I think Wyatt was like he:
"You came here to us and you were our Captain
And together with you your songs sounded as well"//
This is in Wyatt memory too...

Oh ... Oleg ...  Kiss

This is a wonderful song, my friend.
Having listened to your past productions I can certainly hear the 'Wyatt' influence.  Cool

This is a clean, crisp recording of a soulful song.  Of course, I don't understand the lyrics ... but I can feel the sentiment in the performance.

I do hope that you have downloaded the full album.  There is so much there for your interest, no matter what your language is, mans draugs    Cool

When I first heard about our friend I determined that I would relearn guitar and harp, at least enough to be able to play some form of tribute (which I posted above).

However I continued to work on these, especially the guitar and have reached the standard of this tune.

Judging by the responses it's not at all bad.

This is another part of Kevin's legacy - that his sad loss has kicked this fumble-fingered prevaricator into producing some decent music. I have every intention of continuing, and a little bit of our friend will be woven into every guitar line I play.

 Sad
Well .... it may not seem like it, but this week sees the anniversary of Wyatt's passing.

Whilst we were working together he often spoke of the desire to do some Irish songs. After going through quite a list we decided on one which we both knew and worked a few versions of it. We never actually finished any of them, always making this one of those projects which would get put aside as other ones came along.
Over the past year I have often pulled this one out with the aim of adding parts and finalising things ... but, as this final mix was done by Wyatt, could not bring myself to make any changes.

Here, in memory, is the traditional song 'Arthur McBride' in the last version of the Elderly Brothers.

Ride on Brother.   Cool

Sounds like you two are plotting in some unsavoury drinking establishment, elbow to elbow.
Well done, James!

désolée, mais quand j'écoute, je vois devant mes yeux "Laurel & Hardy", un verre à la main en train de tanguer  Cheesy

sorry, but when I listen, I see before my eyes "Laurel & Hardy", a drink in hand trying to pitch: D
