This is my entry for KVR Contest of Dec 10.
It is supposed to be a collaborative effort. Any one inspired by this can use it to
modify, redo, recreate or improve and make a new track containing extracts from it.
You are expected to make a track in the  key of C major.
It should not be more than 3 minutes length and the bit rate should be 192 kbps.
120 bpm

Feel free to use this and make a new track and present it at KVR before 25th
Dec 2010.

I have titled this  "Mellow C " keeping in mind the key it is supposed to be in.

Please do let me know what you felt about it as an independent piece.

Thanks,

Shrikant

Now that's something you don't hear every day - a tune in a 'standard' Western key with a very strong Indian flavour  Grin
I like this but can't imagine how anyone will build on it Shocked

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

 Huh
I must admit that I like this, as a starting point for a composition, but when I tried to play guitar along with it ... in case I could contribute ... it does seem to me to be completely in C Minor, which would make it void as an entry  Roll Eyes
Maybe I'm wrong  Embarrassed

Thanks Folderol and James. I do agree that it is not in C major. Scoops had me there. I noticed
this requirement only at the time of submitting. All along I had thought it should be in C. It was too
late by the time I realised it. It is good enough reward for me if you people liked it.  Grin

Thanks once again.

Yes shrikant I like this.  I like it a lot.

The only thing I would change would be the ending. It's much to abrupt IMHO.

Thanks, Mario,

I was concentrating more on leaving gaps, spaces, pauses etc to enable others to pick the
drift and use it the way they wanted. That probably reflected in my ending.

Thanks once again.
