...just looking for clues...

« on: March 11, 2011, 11:19:48 AM »

The folks who know about earthquakes and big waves informed residents of the west coast of North America that we would probably experience some big waves about 8:00am (5:00pm GMT) Friday, coming at us from Japan. Actually called it a "tsunami warning". I work about 300 meters from the ocean, and finish my shift at 7:30am, so it could be an interesting walk home.

Don't worry, I can swim... Cheesy Cheesy

The waves are only expected to be 50cm, so at worst I'll get wet up to my knees... Roll Eyes

Not somewhere I'd want to live!

That's some serious Lighthouse engineering to stand up to such a battering, and they don't look exactly 'new' Shocked

I was so sorry when I heard about the tsunami today.

Hope tomorrow is a brighter day for all... Smiley
