Max Johannsen is a guitarist and piano player from Germany. He was staying at our hostel in Victoria, and we managed to spend some quality time with guitars - both at the hostel, and at my little apartment. We spent four hours recording tracks that I'll mix down as time permits...

The hostel guitars consist of a 1995 Godin Seagull and a 1996 Peavey Predator AX...
At home there is a Godin bass, a G&L Fullerton, a locally-built replica Fender, and a G&L S-500.

He's good! Technically superior to me in every aspect, and I soaked it up like a sponge... Grin
My only saving grace is that I love the instrument and the resulting enthusiasm works a bit of magic on occasion.
