I've never used freeware before,so without the assistance of the Installation Wizard software that comes with purchased VST's,I am completely lost.
I had contacted the developer & he was very helpful, but he's talking in a computer language that is over my head.....

On testing Truth Synth v1.5 with Presonus Studio One DAW,
I have not found any problems. They work quite well together,
which leads me to believe you may be having any one of the
following issues:

1. Your download of Truth Synth v1.5 may be corrupt; try
downloading again.
2. You may have an issue with a virus scanner giving a
false report of the Synth as malware.
3. Some issue with the Windows operating system blocking
the Synth; Windows Defender for example.
4. Presonus Studio One not authorized to load the Synth
from a folder location.
5. Presonus Studio One not registering the path to the Synth
in the "Options" Dialog. If so, try another location as your VST
Folder before starting your DAW, then setting the path in the
Options dialog, then restarting your DAW. If this resolves the
problem, go back to the original VST folder and set the options
back to that folder as default and repeat the process.

First, Presonus Studio One must Reconize the VSTi's folder location,
then when it shows up in your instrument list on the right side, you can
drag and drop it onto an INSTRUMENT track. The track must be set
specifically as an instrument track.

I figured that solution # 5 was the answer, but I can't make it work.I then thought that maybe this program was 32 bit,so I tried that and still have the same problem,as it won't show up in my DAW.
I know that I am the problem because I am a computer idiot....but perhaps someone here can point out just how silly my problem really is?

Thanks,

-Thom

Thom,

Unfortunately, you're dealing with Windows, so my advice will be of limited value. To get your VST instruments to jive with your DAW (providing Windows is not interfering), the information would best be solicited from Presonus - the VST software packages will be fine, but how Presonus manages them will be what you need to clarify.
Once you have your first VSTi situated, the rest will probably be easy to deploy successfully... Cool
