Here is something I've been working on for a while now during days of bad weather - of which there have been plenty!
What do you think would be the mood and feelings of a star traveller?

Verry chill indeed! And a defintly recognizable style! I wasn't taken to stars though, but found myself in a suny dry desert... One comment based on my personal taste: in the sound spectrum I was missing a bit of sharpness (in the higher frequency range) which would make the mix sounds a little more 'vivid'. Or could it be that my ears are starting to wear off ?... Moon

Wonderful sounds, incredible aural landscapes..or..uh..interstellar-scapes and in fact,a bit reminiscent of Emptysound's style(a very old K-M member). I agree with Moon though,on articulating some of the sounds with some brightening...as it would really take full advantage of the reverb that was applied to this tasty tune!

Will, that was extremely tasteful! It was serene all the way through.
I think this would reflect the calm and amazement a star traveler would be in as he viewed a beautiful plant like Earth from space.
This is a keeper.

Thanks very much for your comments guys. I rather suspect that it is my own hearing that's fading out top-end I will have a look at this with a spectrum analyser in-line and see if I can brighten it up without creating a massive spike around 17kHz that I wouldn't hear. This is what happened once before and I knew nothing about it till a much younger musician said there was 'something painful' about half way through a tune I like the spaceship Thom. Very apt

Spectacular emotional impact! The EQ suits my taste in listening - much of the high frequency content is barely there, and "alluded to" by a very distinct midrange component. To me, more musical than a production where all frequencies are present in great detail, requiring less participation from the listener...
