Hi,

with my very first try with MMA I wanted to I include something like Em7/D, i.e., D as the base for Em7. I understood that INVERT can be used for it, but I couldn't make it. Any suggestions what I have to write?

The easy way is to specify the chord as Em7/D ... see the manual, appendix section on slash chords.

Another way to do this is with the ">" chord extension. You can do something like "Em>2" which rotates the chord 2x. However, the "/" is more predicable. But, please remember that the "voicing" option in the chord track specs often means that what you expect (a certain note as the lowest) might not happen.
