For years,I've been in the habit of documenting every snowfall in N.J.-because as usual,it comes & goes like a sailor in a cathouse & photos are the only way to savor the snow.

It snowed late this afternoon & 50% of the snow is melted already.
  Sad

That's a lotta snow in a short time...

Pretty, but I'm glad I no longer have to shovel it, or drive in it.  Wink

Thom, as I live in the snow capitol of New York State you will get no sympathy from me   Tongue       Grin

Fortunately we have had little snow thus far, only 11.5” and it is all melted away.  Most of the storms have moved either north or south of us and I hope that keeps happening.  When we get blasted I’ll send up a picture!

Why is it that people who dislike snow the most, always live in the most snow-ridden areas?? Huh Grin Perhaps we should trade places?

Nice pix.
We've not had any snow here yet, although I believe they've had a fair bit 'oop norf'. I've got a couple of days off work so wouldn't mind it now. Next week would not be so good. My route to work involves a considerable number of hills, and there is absolutely no way of avoiding them!

For those of us who are not British, care to translate; "oop norf"?  Grin I couldn't find this term in the online urban dictionary.

Well...the part about shoveling it. Grin Most people around here, bitch about snow & wish they lived in Florida. That's how my parents felt...that is,until they spent 7 years down there & moved back up to N.J..

A friendly dig at local accents - of which there are a surprisingly large number hereabouts. Otherwise "Up North" Smiley
