Nice vid!  Great job on the animated type parts.  I wish the blend was better as it was hard to hear the singer at times.

Great work. Nice touch with the video. Great room-session-music, raw perhaps, but OK... this is rocking sound!

Thanks for listening/looking, gentlemen.

The audio was horrendous. The band was so loud that all my recording equipment, including the stereo mics on the Canon camera, was over-driven to the point of distortion. They had none of their own equipment (other than the guitar, bass, and a looper), so I had to quickly find three little guitar amplifiers and a Shure Green Bullet harmonica microphone - just to approximate a P.A.

A co-worker had promised another video camera and tripod so I could shoot from 2 angles and move back and forth in the editing to create more visual interest, but the second camera batteries were dead. Plus, the only lighting was that glaring fluorescence from the overhead fixtures.

Lotsa fun, however - and an excellent learning experience.  Grin

Clever work! What did you use for the video processing?

Glad you had a look, Will!

Open Shot Video Editor - http://www.openshot.org/ - did the trick. I hear a lot of criticism about this software, but personally have found absolutely no limits to its capabilities, particularly when integrated with Blender, Gimp, and Inkscape.

Thanks a lot Oren, I won't piggy-back your thread but will explain my interest 'elsewhere' Smiley
