This tune was originally scored a couple of years ago, when I had first downloaded Avid's free Ignite DAW.It was more of a demo really(as I couldn't really produce a complete, polished song...with all of the trimmings)...though it was quite a capable DAW,but just not at a professional level.
Also...due to Ignite's peculiar rendering engine,my MP3(as it were),was not universally compatible...as not everyone was able to listen to it.

In addition to my efforts to improve this song by way of some VST upgrades,I also added new content to the original draft and just did a complete overhaul on this tune, using the original as inspiration.

I hope you all enjoy listening to it,as much as I enjoyed resurrecting yet another 007 tune,to add to my extensive Bond library.

The arrangment is good, but the sounds are pretty weird and mechanical.

Well....since the James Bond saga spans over a 50 year period,it seemed logical to blend the old, with the modern(hence the weirdness). Wink
Besides which,I've been writing Bond tunes for about a decade and I tend to mix things up,in an effort to keep it fresh.

Speaking of weird instrumentation,Eric Serra(the composer for Golden Eye)...had written a bunch of techno-babble,which was 100% electronic music...so much so,that there wasn't even any original theme elements to it at all...which was atrocious.
However, other composers were brought in,to reformulate the music for the film,to replace some of the techno stuff and bring some of that old authentic Bond music, back into the film.

Thanks for commenting. Cool

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
