What Would Jon Do

I was experimenting putting some chords into Band-in-a-Box when I got stumped.  So I said, "What would Jon Do".  I know more said that when JonD walked through the door!  Hence the title.

We collaborated on the chords and brought them into Sonar.  JonD wanted to try some leads so I brought up a vibe sound and Jon took off.  As he was playing I was recording.  He played all the way through!  He wanted a couple of guitar leads so he played the chords while I jammed the leads.  All parts are first takes with only a couple of punch in and outs.  So here it is warts and all!

JonD is playing the vibes via his keyboard.  I am playing the lead, rhythm and bass parts.  The drums are from Band -in-a-Box.

In listening to this,I had flashbacks of sitting in the waiting room at the dentist office as a kid,reading a magazine.Some of the best damn elevator music I've heard in a long while! Superb stuff,Mr.DeLaura and Mr. Jon D.!
