Swing Night

Just a quick and dirty short jam that I did.

I was messing around with my guitar and came up with this bass line.  I fired up my DAW, got it down, then added the drums via Biab.

I am playing my wind controller (flute), guitar, bass and keyboard.

I hope you like it for what it is.

His 1957 composition  Swinging Shepherd Blues was used for many years as the theme music for CBC's "As It Happens" news digest. Great player (flute and sax) and he could really swing!

Yes, I looked him up and listened to a number of his songs.  He was really good!  He reminded me of Herbie Mann at times.

He was super on the sax also!
