Who? Me?

Well, sort of Smiley

Over on Soundcloud I've collaborated a number of times with a guitarist/singer who goes by the name of Rusty Stringz. Well in the middle of November he passed a song to me and asked me if I'd like to add something to it. At that time I was up to my eyeballs in coding, wanting to get a new version of Yoshimi out for Christmas.

Once I could finally relax I got to work on it. It's an extremely well known song, and Ged's arrangement was a delight to work with. So without further ado, please enjoy...

Thanks. It's always a bit nail-biting when you work on a cover of such an iconic song.

Will, you don't have to worry about biting your nails off.  This is the best version of this song that I have heard in a long long time. His vocals were perfect and his guitar and your synths intertwined perfectly.

Two giant thumbs up for this colab wOO

The vocals are nice, but the absence of the second part harmony,is disappointing.Also...the composition of the guitar track,is notably different...as it played in a very rudimentary fashion.
The synths that were added is nice as well,as it does serve has a filling, for the lack of a 2nd vocal track.

Hi Thom,
Thanks for your comment.
The Canticle is an invention of Paul Simon, and the original 'female' counter part is seldom sung, so I think we can get away with it Smiley
