Recently,I was reminiscing about an old arcade in the former Seaview Square Mall,in my hometown...called Gadgets. It was a Looney Toons-themed arcade, complete with a restaurant and now,I am heartbroken that I never snapped any photos of the place.  Cry I was also thinking of a game I have fond memories of playing and it was called Moon Patrol.Incidentally...I did some poking around...looking for some distinctive new soft-synths that had a fresh approach and I found such a program!
It's called UVI's Synth Anthology 2...which is a wonderful program that despite it being a sampled base synth engine,it has an impeccably authentic analogue sound...but what sets this program apart from most,is that this immense library offers various forms of synthesis; analogue, analogue modeling,PCM,digital & more.
Aside from the simple, yet deep interface, great effects and all...the most compelling selling point for me,was the unique collection of synths, that no one else has(to my knowledge.)There are synths like the Alesis Andromeda,Alesis Fusion,Akai,E-Mu,Ensonique,various Novation synths,Korg,Yamaha,Dave Smith,Nord and the list goes on & on.

Needless to say,I had all the inspiration I needed to create new music and I had long sought after synths that I had lusted after for many years!

Somewhat frenetic track! Must be the effect of so many synth choices Grin
Some nice looking gear there too.

Frenetic music is somewhat commensurate to video games and yes,I could not contain my excitement over my synths! Cheesy Yes indeed...my M-Audio gear is quite nice, for the price...thanks for commenting! Smiley

I remember Moon Patrol.

I almost purchased that UVI's Synth Anthology 2 package but I am a little short of funds right now.  Hopefully it will go on sale again when I have some cash.  It sounds great.

This piece does have that frantic old video game drive to it.  Good work!

Mario...if you want to wait for this to go on sale,I know websites like AudioDeluxe and VSTBuzz are good for their periodic sales.Another option...if you are interested,is using Sweetwater's 3 installment pay plan.

Thanx, I get emails from both AudioDeLuxe and VSTBuzz and I know about financing.  My problem is that I have some very unexpected huge medical bills coming in next week.  This coupled with a new furnace, central air, water heater, and a big 50th wedding anniversary party July one and our anniversary get-a-way has put me behind the eight ball right now.  I'll make it through all of this but my music buying cash has been cut off!

Thanx Thom, I was very fortunate to meet my wife, that's for sure.

As far as wishing you had those types of expenses you are more than welcomed to pay my bills  Wink
