This is one of my newest tunes, called The Stargazer.
James plays some amazing acoustic guitars and I am really thankful to all the guys at Kompoz too
for their precious contributions such as the lyrics and the vox.

The Stargazer
Music & Composition:   NeoN
Slide Acoustic Guitars:  James
Lyrics:   BKWilliamson
Vox:     Mack

It's early in the morning
Sky is full of stars
Crickets are singing
an' I wonder where you are

It was in the early autumn
on a cool an' breezy night
Love was in the making
an' the future was still in sight

Chorus
Memories scatter like leaves
Never felt my soul at peace
Friends all say it's gonna end
But right here in the moment
I'm missing you again
--------------------------

Sweet magnolia blossom
Petals she would find
She put 'em in a basket
With some Honeysuckle vine

She made life worth living
She made me feel alive
But the taking an' the giving
Leaves dullness in my mind

Repeat Chorus

Enjoy!

Peter

Peter, this is top shelf all the way wOO  You guys make an amazing team!

Although I thought that the intro was a tad too long it did not distract from this outstanding song.

This is a keeper.

Very much enjoyed this. Good song and performance all round - Oh, and James' guitar work instantly recognisable Smiley

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.

MarioD, Folderol,

thank you very much for your kind words.
I am glad you enjoyed this tune.
It's great to make something and see it evolve through ideas from other musicians  Grin

More tunes soon!
