Who? Me?

WWW
« on: December 30, 2017, 10:17:18 PM »

Looking through my old archives I see the very first time I posted a track on here was 10 years (and a few months ago). I can't seem to find a link to it here, so thought I'd repost instead.

This is a rather pensive track, and I dedicated it to all those who have inexplicable lost loved ones.

This track predates my fave synth Yoshimi by about 2 years, so was done with ZynAddSubFX 2.2.1
Now it so happens, that along with the original recording, I also have the patch sets, and the sequencer file, and am delighted to say that the very latest version of Yoshimi with Rosegarden play this exactly the same as far as i can tell.

So without further ado, here is:

I remember this one from back then, Will. Very evocative.
Did I join in on this at some point. Seems very familiar?
It really does stand the test of time, but your music so often does.

We did join up here about the same time.
When I listen back to some of this old stuff, which I do from time to time, I get quite excited realising how much I have learned and progressed since then. Mostly, during those early years, due to help advice and encouragement from members here, most sadly moved on!

Hi James.
I think you intended to have a look at it, but had a round tuit problem Smiley
Also, you were the person that invited me over here with a priv. message on KVR. So thanks for that. It's been a fun time overall.
