Who? Me?

Today I read that we lost one of my personal heroes Sad
Not only was he an amazing scientist, but also a remarkable human being. Diagnosed as only having about 2 years live expectancy when he was 21, he not only reached the age of 76, but totally filled those years.
He's been an inspiration to me for most of my adult life. He never gave up in spite of one of the most cruel disabilities. He also maintained a delightfully wicked sense of humour.
As someone else said "Bon Voyage Dr Hawking - you're the other side of the event horizon now."

I read his book and I really wish I understood more than the words "and", "the", etc. What a genius.

A sad day. RIP.

A brilliant mind in a diseased body made many of us think!

Look up toward the stars and not at your feet!

RIP Mr. Hawking.

Losing Christopher Hitchens was bad enough...now Hawkings.. Embarrassed ...well,at least they left a lot behind for the world to follow.
