Who? Me?

This relates to a song  (a cover) I first heard about a year ago on SoundCloud, performed by Rusty Stringz (Ged) and Hans, I was totally captivated by it.

Recently I thought I could add a little to it. I knew from past experience this wouldn't be easy, as Ged originally just played this live and there would be natural timing variations. However, this time I decided to really put myself to the test.

The background choir fill-ins were relatively straight forward - nice slow indistinct attack and decay. The little fluty twiddles were OK. The bass line was much harder. Timing had to be much better, and pitching too. However, the real test was adding percussion that matched the song variations, yet didn't seem too irregular.

Hopefully I succeeded!

The song is Arms of a Woman and I've attached both ogg and mp3 copies.

You did succeed! Excellent job adding those tracks.

Having had to do this myself a number of times I know what a challenge it was.

Great job Will.

PS - the instrumentation that you added was perfect!

Thanks very much. I'm really glad you both like what I've added Smiley
