Rusty Stringz over on SC sent me a track he thought I'd like to collaborate with... and he was right Smiley
Here is the end result. It's a cover version, and He is singing and playing guitar, while I add the synth stuff. I hope you like it.

Very nice, Will.
He does a good job with it and your accompaniment is spot on.
Very atmospheric.
I could be interested in adding lap-steel to this to give a more country-fied feel.

Glad you like it.
Please feel free to have a go. I'm sure Ged would be happy with the idea.

Lovely song all round.
Really enjoyed doing this whether you use it or not.
If you want the individual take to mix yourself let me know and I can Dropbox it for you.
Thank you, Sir.

You see .... I DO still check in daily.

Well,
I had a listen, and I'm pleased you wanted to add to this, but for the first time ever I'm afraid I really don't think it fits.
I'm really sorry to say that, as you've done such good work over the years Cry

Will, this is really great!  You should do more collaborations with him as you two sound great together.

James, the reason that I don't think that the lap steel fits is that there way too much of it. I think that if you had added it a few times where there was no singer it would have fit better.  YMMV.

Yes. I forgot where I was.
Where I usually do collabs these days I tend to play right through a song then send the individual file for the originator to edit in whatever way they think fits best.
Never mind. No harm done.
