I originally posted this many moons ago, but recently brushed it off and tidied it up. I was going to re-do the reading itself, using a decent microphone, but then remembered how many hours it took last time so chickened out Shocked

Anway, it's now on soundcloud here

I'm old enough to remember this tract being sold or even given away in all the hippie shops back in the 60s. I think there is a back story to the text ... ahh, yes: many thought it to be from the 1600s, but in reality it is a poem written by  Max Ehrmann in the 1920s (thanks Wikipedia!). Nevertheless, they are good words and impart a good message.

I really like the background track you created. Very nice! Your voice recording sounds just fine with my equipment.

Your spoken word was really good.  Your backing tracks were excellent!

I don't mind getting more mature but I do object to the falling apart as I do it.

It's our grey beards which give us away Smiley I grew mine for awhile a few years when I was in hospital for a week and I looked 10 years older, something I really can't afford. The razor took care of that very quickly!
