Well, here's the first attempt. It is little more than an outline but hopefully you get the idea of where I'm going.

I look forward to seeing how this develops, Will.
It is a beautifully enchanting composition with a few unexpected chord changes.
Great start.
If at any point you would like acoustic guitar to give a tonal contrast just speak up.

Thanks James,
I've more or less got everything in place now, there might be a few tweaks, but the structure is all there.
You're more than welcome to see what you can fit to it. The problem with the chords is that they are totally made up to match the melodies, mostly three note, but a bit 'different' Tongue

Do you have a list of those chords?

Not at the moment - I just fiddled about on the keyboard till it sounded right.
I'll try to note them down soon-ish.

OK, here you go Grin

I've separated out the different sections, and also put line breaks at significant changes in the melody.

There is one chord I can't work out at all, so I've listed the individual notes I played in parenthesis!
Also, for  a repeat, or different inversion of the same chord, the second one is in round brackets.

1st
C (C), F, C

2nd
Em, Bm, EM, F, EM, C
G, Dm, F, C
G, C
G, C, Dm, Em, C

3rd
C, G, F, Em
D, Gm, F, G
C, Bb, Am, Bm
{d-e-g), C, G, Bm
Bb (Bb), F
Dm, Em, Bm, Em, C

4th
C (C)

Thanks Will.
Some interesting combinations there, old son.
I'm away for the weekend but will take a proper look at this when time allows.

This is a great sounding start.  I really like the tonal qualities of seconds one and two.

This has the potential of being one of your best.

Thanks a lot Mario, it'll be interesting to hear what James can come up with.

Well ....
I just sat trying to get to grips with this one and come to the sad conclusion that it is not meant for guitar accompaniment!
Sorry, my friend.
Another time, perhaps.

No Prob.
It is a bit 'out there' so I'm not surprised really. I'm sure there will be others Smiley

Is this song about a drafty window,or merely an advent of a new tune? Lovely chords & melodies and definitely a beginning that warrants an end. Cool

Thanks Thom... and nice to see you here again Grin

Actually it's a complete tune now, and on soundcloud. It seems to be well received - apart from one person Smiley
