In the manual (you have read it ALL, haven't you?) there is a section on using the "COPY" and "COPYTO" commands. I have no reason why the second part (COPYTO) is there since there is no such command!

I've fixed up the docs and this will be corrected in the next releases. But, in the meantime ... just read the "COPYTO" section as "COPY TO" and all will be well. The "TO" is just a modifier to the COPY command and is handy when you with to copy tracks back and forth within a Begin/End section of code.

And for bonus points (Points? We have POINTS?) ... how many realize that there is also a "COPY FROM" option? And how long did it take you to figure that "COPY FROM" is exactly the same as "COPY"?

The dumb or is it scary part of this is that I only discovered the issue after tying to use "CopyTo" in a file. Damn thing didn't work and I kept checking the docs (just like I tell others!). Ended up looking at the source to figure it all out, and that "look" included looking at archived versions. And I do this for fun?

Ha! Tell me about it. In the 'small' project I can a couple of others work on I've been confused by commands that don't seem to work... when it was me who changed them 5 or 6 years ago!

I guess this little "error" really shows the importance of docs. Not necessarily good or great docs, but, at the least, docs that actually line up with the program Smiley
