So yes, "sudo apt-get install mma" now works for Debian sid users like me. :-) Meanwhile, Ubuntu will automatically import MMA into the future 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) before FeatureFreeze and DebianImportFreeze that would likely happen around February 2016. This is really great news. It'll make it much easier for Debian (including Ubuntu) users to access MMA. More users should generate more activity and more and better library files.
