Hi all

I originally wrote the melody and chords for this a couple of years ago but couldn't come up with an arrangement I was happy with. I picked it up again last week and everything seemed to flow quite easily - I guess it sometimes helps to leave a tune alone for a short while  Grin

Nicely crafted!
The bass and percussion created a particularly mellow support for your melody instruments. Good depth, spacious feel.

Yes another good one.
Litle remark : the first lead from 0:20  to 0:58 is a bit muffled in the mix  Kiss

Hi FourthMansions
this one is a pretty original composition.
based on a heavy rhythm going on, it has some free flowing melody in counterparts.
There's a kind of soundtrack feel coming stronger like a movie from the 60's
I enjoyed it

Cheers

Hi FM,

cool, liked this one. You have here a little synth pop jewel.
I agree that there is a 60's movie soundtrack feel, I enjoyed.

The guitar parts are cool too. Excellent. Just a thought, maybe you can use a more "jazzy" sounding for the guitar, "a la" georges Benson ?
All the melodic work is great. Congrats!

Thanks for sharing!!

I enjoyed a lot.

bye

Thanks for your encouraging comments, guys.

Kara, I've listened to it again and I think you're right about the first lead being slightly muffled - I think I need to work on the EQ a bit.

Magma, I originally recorded the guitar solos with a clean jazzy tone (not a million miles away from GB  Smiley ) but found that it didn't really cut through so I added some overdrive. Given your comment, I may experiment with moving partway back towards the clean tone and trying to clear a bit of space in the mix to bring it forward.

Anyway, thanks for listening, all of you.

Hey FM! How are you?

I always enjoy listening to your tunes...always getting something quite original. I can see why the reference is made to 60's film score.

The guitar lead is real nice. I'm with Magma on the tone.

Nice one!!

Hi FM

Great track.  I am feeling relaxed listening to it.

Peaceful and little bit melancholic atmosphere is what suits me right now.

Thanks for sharing !

Thanks for listening guys. I'm glad you liked it.

Fred, with you and Magma both suggesting a jazzier tone on the guitar, I think I'll have to give it a try. I'll post it if it works.
