Who? Me?

In an idle moment (yes I actually had one - maybe I should frame it) I stuffed a short oldish track of mine through jammin. I left all the default setting apart from lifting the input gain as I knew the level was low.

I was quite astonished at the difference it made, so quickly got the source files and ran it again going directly from Rosegarden -> jammin -> Audacity the result is here. It is called March Of The Trolls and the original idea came to me long before a certain film gave trolls a bad press Smiley

<ahem> I recommend playing loud
<ahem2> If you have a sub-woofer all the better - especially at the end Cheesy

I like this epic, fantastic track.
Nice 'weird' melodies works great, and the ending march with pipe-organ adds drama.
Well done

Cheers

Thanks guys.

... a little secret. I would love the chance & ability  to produce a really solid, aggressive, cathedral organ piece Evil

Jam?  I wish I could jam like that

I really liked your instrumentation here.  It all sounds good to me.  I liked how it built up to the fantastic organ ending.

Great song.

Noooo. That wasn't a jam (don't I wish I could just jam like that!)

I used the 'jammin' software on it. This was one of my typically layered pieces.

Incidentally the little hoppity skip of the shaker when it comes in at 1:20 was an accident, but it fitted so well I not only kept it, but repeated it too Smiley
