Regardless of what instruments we play,we can all love & fully appreciate these wonderful videos....she's enough to cause ALL of us to discard our instruments...for good! Shocked Sad Grin

Pastorius...? This bassist has her own thing Cool!

The prowess she demonstrates further reinforces my feeling that the bass guitar is an instrument unto itself.
Guitarists (like me, for instance Roll Eyes) who feel qualified to play the bass just because the frets and tuning are similar, should either learn to approach the instrument with the respect and dedication it deserves, or leave it to the real bassists.
These performances are inspiring

How very true, you wouldn't know to how many guitarists I allready this  Roll Eyes
Many people don't believe this, but it is really like comparing a piano with a drum, put a bit extreme perhaps but still....
Besides, I personally don't know any really good bassist who started on guitar and I always recognize a bassist who started as a guitar player  Grin

The expression coming for a guitarist that I hate the most is 'pff it's only a guitar with 4 strings'....  Evil
