Title: Waiting Worlds For 007 Post by: elwoodblues1969 on January 30, 2013, 06:55:48 AM This is an old tune of mine,resurrected from a few years ago...something of which was done in Reason version 4 and it was never quite completed.
To challenge myself & to put my Ignite DAW to the ultimate test,I set out on a mission to recreate this tune by completely abandoning my Reason DAW and to do it all exclusively in Ignite....but to also render it to meet with my usual standards of audio quality that I always strive for. Amazingly enough,Ignite proved very capable and I got the results I wanted,with absolutely no outside assistance from any other program & I could not be more thrilled about this software! :- I began this song completely from scratch,apart from the original & was I able to pull it off in 3 hours....thanks to the extraordinary efficiency of Ignite! 8) -Thom Title: Re: Waiting Worlds For 007 Post by: SLD Music on January 30, 2013, 02:11:45 PM Thom,
Liked this alot. I especially loved that bass sound that comes in and slowly takes over at about 1:51. Very cool sound! :) And I loved how you integrate the 007 theme with that bass as an undercurrent. Very very cool stuff. @mario It's a VBR mp3. Maybe you're unlucky enough to have one of the few decoders thatcan't handle that. I've never been a techno-geek when it comes to PC's...so I can't really help,except to say that perhaps,browsing through CNET to find an alternative free media player,might do the trick. I've never been able to rely on just a single media player for everything,so I use VLC at times,Sound Forge & a few others. I'm sure Will's post would be helpful to you.
