Thanks, kara-moon.

Beautiful Burden
2:26 / 3MB or so

Lyrics:
Beautiful burden, come and weigh me down
I've got a body you can wrap your chains around
When you pull me under, I promise not to make a sound
Beautiful burden, come and weigh me down

Beautiful burden, come and break my bones
I've got a body you can shake and make your own
I've been thinking about sinking like a stone
Beautiful burden, come and take me home

Used: MU.LAB, Session Drummer 2, sfz (w/Precision Sound Indian Harmonium), $80 First Act PW guitar, Telecaster (& stainless steel backscratcher), usual borrowed bass (Squier II Precision Bass with the frets filed away), POD, SM57, GTXrevC, Antress Modern Compressor, FL4TT3RY, GlaceVerb, AriesVerb, VocEQPro-C, PSP SpringVerb, Classic Phaser, ArcDev ET-301, ADT GUI, QB3, Overtone GEQ, GTune, Span, Inspector, Big Clock, Audacity (the last four I use pretty much every contest but usually forget to mention).

Nice and loose, not too much polish, and just the right amount of dirt. Sounds like the real deal... wOO

Once again...

Can't go far wrong with a simple intro like that. Backing supports the song well at first, but then I think it rather overpowers it, which is a great shame. Instrumental section works well. When it backed off I was expecting the vocal to come in sooner - and maybe a bit louder.

If you have a poem, I have a tune, and we exchange these, we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
