Hi guys, I know. I should be more active here in the forum. The thing is that my life became so complicated that I barely have time to breath. But, this will be over soon. More precisely in two weeks. After that VACANTION! .... finaly And I promise that my activity here will improve substanially. I got a song for you. Worked more in a classical manner... I think. Some of you have listened my works I posted here or in the defunct Auditorium, or KVR's Cafe... This is something else. Well, work in progress, but closing up to the final form. So, I called it, My other side. And, of course (even if I not deserve it) any feedback would be more than wellcome.

Hi Petru this is a mellow track, with strong melodic contest, it seems you know music theory very well. Not a simple noodling but enhanced phrasing. I like it so much Very well produced, too Cheers

Nicely done. I like the drum part a lot, and, as mentioned, you've got very nice melodies. The ending is beautiful. I guess I don't know what "commercial" is, because it sounds to me like it would fit real well on a television show or in a movie

Nice track.
Very accomplished arrangement and skillful playing.
Personally I liked the first part without the drums better than the second part.

ok you know how to play keys that muted trumpet sounds great but the solo violon and string sections is hmmm.... average Someone should sing on this one, it could be a great interaction with that muted trumpet. k

Thanks guys for feedback. It is really apreciated and useful. @ kara: yeah, that string and violin (actually is a combo between viola and cello) needs some more work. I wasn't very happy about it either, but I hit a dead end regarding the sf2-s and samples I got, so couldn't come up with anything better ... yet. About a singer? yeah, why not? the only thing is that I didn't have around me here any quality singer, as for me singing ... not recommended. I would risk to be thrown out and banned of all music forums I participate for inflicting hearing damage to the listeners Cheers, Petru

Hi Petru
I enjoyed listening to this. The first minute or so, with the keyboard and trumpet, sounds really lovely. I was a bit less taken with the second half - once the drums came in. Overall, though, it's very nice.

Hi Petru!
Really wanted to listen to this, but its hit and miss here with whether my system will play the uploads or not. This time not, unfortunately.

Fantastic work!
This is a really good arrangement. I did like the beginning (no drums) better than the section with the drums, but that is just personal preference as that section was also well done. The ending was phenomenal!
Really a great song - MarioD

I'm really glad that after three months I've posted this song, it is still listened. Thanks for the comments guys. About the drums, I'm working on it. This is one of my problems that I have usually hard time to solve: drums sound to harsh.
Cheers, Petru

Petru,
I listened to it repeatedly and started playing tetris, about an hour later I realized what time it was and quit - but it was an hour well spent. Great work!

Hey petru, I decided to give this another shot as my computer has finally decided to play most of what is here on KM...not a clue why. Excellent piece of music here. A wonderful listen. Actually, I've liked everything I've heard from you.
