I'm new to the forum. Been a BIAB user for many years. Just got a zoom h2 for Christmas recorded a couple of tunes on it. Recorded w/BIAB. "Alone" was recorded with the built-in mics and "Stella" was recorded with a line-out from my Fender Passport PA. I think the line-out yields a better sound. Looking for any recording tips for better sound. Later, Ray

Ray, welcome here... lovely jazz style !
Alone sounds, well as you said yourself, recorded with buitin mics, it lacks a lot of bottom end and body, which is normal for that type of recording. Stella is a lot better, but here it sounds a bit bass heavy, nothing you couldn't solve with some EQ....

Well, I have to agree with Kara on sound quality, anyway I enjoyed the live feel of these recordings. I think there's a good balance and you can try gently compressing to squeeze some more presence out of it. I like this jazzy style and there is good playing throught the tracks Thanks for sharing
Cheers

Nice jazzy kind of style you got there. Since I'm not certain wich parts where recorded live and wich parts where arranged by BiaB or something similar, I can't really give you any advice on recording on the parts you'd like. (the whole recording sounded convincing to me)

The piano playing is me, the bass and drums are generated by Band in a Box. I use this set-up when playing solo gigs. Later, Ray
