Another oldie but goodie done in bossa nova style.  My band used to do this one in a lounge setting.  In this version I added more MMBM’s, i.e. Mario’s Midi Band Members!

Constructive criticism is always welcomed.

Usual good job.  I'd like it a little peppier, seems a little too laid back. Maybe the 'end of the night' version?
Nice job on the sax.  Midi horns ain't easy. I like the initial sound of it.
Cool licks to end it

Thanx Bob!

You think it’s to slow for a lounge song?  I thought it was just about right however it’s been a while since I’ve played out!  It may be my age and the fact my fingers “ain’t what they used to be”!  It’s in Sonar so I can very easily increase the tempo.  Thanx for the suggestion.

Yes I know midi horns ain’t easy. I almost flushed the sax part but I got this far and decided to see what others had to say about it. Thanx for noticing.

Tempo may be OK, could be I was just feeling 'in a hurry' or was listening to uptempo stuff beforehand.  Just first impression; I always respond while listening the first time.

Me too.  Many times first impressions are correct.

Mario,

I don't really remember the original, but to my particular taste,I would like the tempo cranked up a bit,but otherwise is a nice little ditty & your guitar work is a pleasure as always. Cool

Mario,

If I was listening to an FM radio smooth jazz station and this puppy was in the line-up, I would think it sounded right at home. Fully professional effort in performance and production. Your ability to emulate a guitar style that suits the song is becoming phenomenal!
