Hi... i've been working in some jazz variations of Piazzolla. The idea is to make a suite with Verano Porteņo (the one that you can listen down there) Escualo and Tango Hora Cero...

So, this is the original version of Verano Porteņo, by Astor Piazzolla:

About my version, what you can listen its just a take of me playing it, with out the electronic... it's a quicker, more "violent" version of it that will be the end of the suite... I recorded it with my video camera, so the sound it's not the best, and it has some mistakes...

Here it's the version..

Well the others got there before me again Roll Eyes

Incidentally, I noticed the music stand, were you actually reading the dots or playing from memory?

i'm not reading (i'm really bad at it..), but mainly because is a improvisation theme, the idea of the variation was to open a improvisation space (from 1' 24'' to the end). Glad you ask it because it seems already composed..

thanks for the feedback...

I'm a big fan of Piazzolla and found your performance absolutely wonderful. If only I could get a hold of his pieces in BiaB format...

Thanks,

Dan
