My name's Mick Emery. I live in the mountains in Needmore, PA. (USA) I was a professional saxophonist for many years and got back to playing (last year) after being off for 28 years. I play Synthophone through a Yamaha VL70m Turbo & Roland XV2020. I'm also new to forums & love the idea of being able to communicate with musicians from around the world. I was led here from the PG forum via a post from Kara on the PG forum & also an email from Oren. I'm looking forward to learning and interacting with the folks here. Just wanted to say hi to everyone! Mick I don't know if posting my website is okay here... if not, I hope the moderator will delete.? www.mickemery.com

Mick, Yes! The man with the massive chops. Limber up the lips, fella,( ?) there's going to be a lot of requests for your synthophone skills once this crew hears your stuff. How ya fixed for spare time? Really cool to have you aboard, Oren.

Thanks to all for the welcome! Kara...I'm good friends with Bob Hunt. He has sent me some things of yours & some you & he did together. Nice! Oren...you rascal! So this is where you've been hiding! I've got plenty of free time. I'm in the process of turning the running of my company over to my step-son so I can play all the time. My dream is to tour again. (who knows?) I'm on 3 collabs. right now, but there's room for more. I just love to play. Thanks for the compliment. Mick

Just visited and spend an hour browsing the content and listening to the music. You played with some real big ones out there Music : "Sometimes This Is Me" is my favourite, strong song, I love it. My lady plays a WX11 together with the Vl70m (which I've bought from Bob ) So, she really appreciate your music and how good you both are. Kara PS : Now let's hope that Bob too joins us here one day, would be

Having played the sax in my lifetime and even dipping into jazz, I welcome a good player. Hope to hear much of you in these boards.
