To be honnest, this one didn't catch me, to atonal in some spots for my ears

I've been trying to get my key-playing chops up a bit and was working these simple melodies all day while I watched a steady drip-drip-drip happen.
The sweeps of the strings are in odd places (they start out somewhat normal, but then I move them around till they aren't ah, normal) I started that technique earlier but is better shown in this piece.
The transitions are the finger exercises I made up for myself to get my ring finger to work a little smoother.
The last bit is reminiscent of steel drums (always atonal) And a little bit of dynamite cowbell goes along way (More Cowbell)
I should completely RTFM but I'm just an old guy who needs to fix a leak lol.
for fun and learning to use the forum I've attached a file and a picture of where I'm parked (on a sunny day 'natch)
Yeah, this isn't exactly a catchy melody, it's rather difficult to the ears..
I tried myself an
atonal experiment months ago and I must admit your track is much more cohesive and I like the imaginative side (it changes mood 2 times)
Not easy but it makes sense to me
Thanks for sharing, with your music, the listening experience is like a challenge sometimes (in a positive way, of course
.)
Cheers
cool little piece there Laguna Rising- reminds me of some early zappa-eske stuff (it's a vibe thing lol) I
LIke It!
(mine was done in jest)
(it's a More Cowbell tune)
there's actually three pieces in this tune... the middle one is what I'm seriously working on but is still in a scribble stage.
Sorry, this one doesn't work for me at all
ya, humor's that way sometimes.
Doesn't always work and I'm a pretty poor stand-up comic.
Is the piece I inserted in this note more to your senses of teh muse?
