Kara-Moon seems at a glance as a mere village compared to some forums megatropolisis. But....

The recent tracks I posted was cross-posted to a few forums, noticeably KVR and Kara-Moon. I got nice feedback over at KVR, but mostly from old online acquaintances. This seems to be pretty much the rule with KVR. Here I got some very nice responses from - I guess - people I haven't had the honor of having as listeners before. Cool stuff! I guess Kara-Moon will have to suffer from my infrequent musical production in the future.

Any ones with similarly experiences?

Hi Res

Village seems apt. This is sort of a haven for musicians created by musicians...

Glad to see you here...

Village is a good word.
The difference between Kvr and the Music Auditorium here is that Kvr is a technology forum which happen to have a music cafe also, the auditorium here is a MUSIC forum.
We try to involve all musicians here not only to post there songs but also to comment on the songs that are posted here. A golden rule here is that ALL songs posted here will receive comment from others.
And since we all are musicians, we highly encourage collabs between musicians. We allready had some very good one here.

And we where very lucky to find some fine moderators for the different sections.
I hope you will enjoy yourself here.

Yeah, good picture. The town and the city. but that's another story... Wink

It seems much more friendly here, than other forums...
The spirit of the auditorium lives on. And it's not just a nostalgic thought but a real matter.

Cheers

Being very new to computer music on the web, I didn't have the pleasure of participating on the 'old' Auditorium. Something about Kara-Moon attracted me, and in some ways I hope it remains small - although I know it's going to grow quickly.

The 'not-for-profit music' theme is especially refreshing.

If we can keep it personal, and controversial, yet friendly....

Now I just HAVE to get a faster internet connection Roll Eyes - see what you techno-wizards have started?
